             Vice Principal                   Dr. Humberto Almeida

  • Brazilian-born pianist Humberto Almeida is a Doctorate graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Considered in his youth by prominent newspapers in Brazil as one of the most talented pianists emerging in its national scenario, Dr. Almeida has collected many awards for his performances and studies in his native country and abroad. In 1993 Dr. Almeida made his debut with the Campinas Symphony Orchestra at the VII Eldorado Prize, Brazil’s most renowned music contest; the following years he performed and made TV appearances as a soloist with major orchestras in Brazil.​
